NXTGEN Basketball started with a simple idea to create something bigger for basketball in Melbourne.

What began with a passion for coaching and helping young athletes improve has grown into a vision to build a basketball community where players can develop, compete, and reach their full potential.

NXTGEN was created because we believe basketball development should be about more than just running drills. It’s about teaching athletes how to play the game, challenging them to step outside their comfort zone, building confidence and giving them the environment and support they need to keep progressing.

But this is only the beginning.

The long-term vision for NXTGEN is to build a home for basketball development, a place where athletes can train year-round, compete, connect with other players and coaches, and have a clear pathway from their first steps in basketball through to representative, high-performance and professional level.
